The examined jersey photograph and the in-game reference image were compared side by side, with the front number “20” isolated as the primary comparison area. Both images were adjusted for scale and orientation to compensate for differences in camera angle, distance, perspective, fabric tension and movement during play. The analysis focused on persistent, individually distinguishable characteristics within the number application. These included loose threads, deviations from otherwise regular contours, localized outward bulges, stitching irregularities and the precise spatial relationship of each feature to the surrounding edges of the numerals. Four positive match points were documented. Each characteristic was evaluated according to its shape, position, direction and relative size in both images.
