An authentic piece of SC Rist Wedel basketball history from the club's 50th anniversary season.

The 2017–18 season marked Steffen Kiese's final campaign with SC Rist Wedel, a traditional German basketball club competing in the ProB North division. Founded in 1968, SC Rist Wedel celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018. The milestone was reflected in special anniversary branding on the team's uniforms, including the distinctive circular logo featured on these shorts. Kiese, who wore jersey number 9, represented Wedel during the final two seasons of his time with the club, from 2016 to 2018. His departure following the 2017–18 campaign marked the end of his playing career with SC Rist Wedel. These game-worn shorts were obtained directly from Steffen Kiese himself, establishing a direct player-to-collector provenance without intermediaries. Now preserved in the PhotoMatchForensics collection, the shorts represent both Kiese's final season with SC Rist Wedel and the club's historic 50th anniversary campaign.
