This white Will Barnes #44 jersey was game worn during the Hamburg Towers' inaugural 2014–15 season in the 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA. The 2014–15 season marked the beginning of professional basketball for the Hamburg Towers. After receiving a wildcard for the 2. The Towers immediately made an impact: they won the first official game in club history, 66–65 at Gießen, and later reached the ProA playoffs in their debut campaign. Will Barnes became one of the central figures of that inaugural team. The American guard served as team captain and finished the season as Hamburg's leading scorer with 387 points, averaging 13.8 points per game. He also led the team with 70 assists. His role went beyond statistics: as captain, Barnes helped lead a completely new professional basketball organization through its first season.
