Gesche Schünemann

This game-used Germany women’s national wheelchair basketball jersey was worn by Gesche Schünemann (#10) during the 2014 IWBF Women’s World Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Toronto, Canada. The white Spalding jersey features black graphic detailing, the German federal eagle crest, ING-DiBa sponsorship, Schünemann’s name and number 10, as well as the official IWBF tournament patch. A particularly important element of the jersey is its direct provenance. Gesche Schünemann personally presented the jersey to the collector as a gift at the Inselparkhalle in Hamburg, Germany. At the time of the handover, she signed the front of the jersey and added the inscription “Game Used Jersey”, together with her number #10.
