During school visits, the players discussed their experiences within the international environment of professional basketball and demonstrated how cooperation between people of different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds is an essential part of team sport. Basketball served as a practical example of integration, mutual respect and shared responsibility. The campaign culminated in a special action day at the MHPArena on April 17, 2015, during the Beko BBL home game between the MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg and Basketball Löwen Braunschweig. More than 1,000 participating pupils attended the event and joined the players, supporters and project organizers in sending a public message against racism. For this game, the Ludwigsburg players wore jerseys carrying the dedicated “GIB RASSISMUS EINEN KORB!” campaign patch beneath the Beko BBL league logo. This yellow number 9 jersey was worn by John Little, an experienced American guard who joined Ludwigsburg for the 2014–15 season after previously playing in Germany for BG Göttingen and Würzburg.
