Front Number "2"
This comparison set focuses on the front number “2” of the jersey worn by Jodie Meeks against the Charlotte Hornets on April 1, 2015. The reference image and the examined jersey were compared for correspondence in the numeral’s overall shape, layered twill construction, edge contours, stitching patterns and alignment on the front mesh panel. Particular attention was given to localized fabric deformations, loose threads, stitching irregularities and the positioning of the red, white and blue twill layers that may distinguish this individual jersey from other examples of the same uniform design.

Front Number “0”
This comparison set focuses on the front number “0”.The reference photograph and the examined jersey were compared for correspondence in the numeral’s overall shape, layered red, white and blue twill construction, edge contours, stitching patterns and alignment on the blue mesh body. Particular attention was given to localized irregularities in the numeral’s outline, the shape and positioning of the central opening, fabric deformations and individually positioned mesh perforations that may distinguish this jersey from other examples of the same uniform design.

Methodology & Conclusion
Methodology
Comparative Examination
The examination consisted of a systematic assessment of the jersey’s materials, construction, professional customization, tagging configuration and visible use characteristics. The adidas performance-mesh body, Detroit Pistons color scheme, layered twill lettering and numerals, NBA branding, size 3XL+4 designation and season-specific manufacturer tagging were examined for consistency with jerseys professionally prepared for Jodie Meeks during the 2014–15 NBA season.
The physical examination was supplemented by a PhotoMatchForensics comparison with in-game photographs showing Meeks against the Charlotte Hornets on April 1, 2015. Independent comparison sets were created for the front numerals “2” and “0” and the rear “ROIT” section of the “DETROIT” wordmark.
The photographic analysis focused on the shape and alignment of the applied elements, layered twill construction, edge contours, stitching patterns and their relationship to the underlying mesh fabric. Particular attention was given to individually positioned mesh perforations visible within and around the lettering and numerals. The number, spacing, orientation and placement of these holes relative to the adjacent twill edges were compared across the examined jersey and the in-game imagery.
Corresponding mesh-hole patterns were documented along the lower inner section of the front number “2,” above the rear “ROIT” lettering, within the upper opening of the letter “R,” and between its lower strokes. Differences in viewing angle, image resolution, lighting, garment tension and player movement were considered during the evaluation.
The final assessment was based on the combined agreement of the period-correct physical characteristics and multiple independent photographic identifiers. No material contradiction was identified within the visible comparison areas.
Conclusion
Confirmed Photomatch
The examined jersey displays materials, professional construction, customization and tagging consistent with a Detroit Pistons game jersey prepared for Jodie Meeks during the 2014–15 NBA season.
PhotoMatchForensics identified multiple corresponding characteristics between the jersey and in-game photographs from the Detroit Pistons game against the Charlotte Hornets on April 1, 2015. The most significant evidence consists of matching mesh-perforation patterns positioned in direct relationship to the applied front numerals and rear lettering. These patterns correspond in number, spacing and alignment across several independent comparison areas.
The collective agreement of these individually positioned construction characteristics, together with the consistent shapes and placement of the twill elements, supports a confirmed photomatch. No conflicting characteristic was observed within the photographically visible areas.
PhotoMatchForensics therefore concludes that the examined jersey is the same individual garment worn by Jodie Meeks against the Charlotte Hornets on April 1, 2015.
